Paragliding enables mankind's well know dream of effortless flight. The experience of gliding effortlessly in the sky and nature reflects a true unique experience.
For all that wish to experience paragliding, we offer trial classes and basic certifications almost every weekend.
The first day is focused on the basics of paragliding. Starting, running, steering, and soon thereafter you'll find yourself comfortably gliding in the air. Initially one practices running down the gentle practice slope- barely leaving the ground. Once this is mastered, a
slightly stronger gradient is used for your first short flight. All participants will gradually and safely transition to the stronger gradient slope. The distance of your controlled flight is 200 meters from the starting spot to the landing area. The flight height and distance is ideal for all that wish to have a flight experience.
The basic certification or "Grundschein" takes 4 days. Starting, running, and landing as well as 20 solo flights with vertical height
difference between 40 and 60 meters will provide all participants with the experience to transition to flights with increased vertical height differences "Höhenflüge" (400-1200 meters).
In addition to the practical training, we will provide the required theoretical knowledge. We will lend to you the complete equipment. Directly after each basic certification class, you will have the option to continue with the high-flight class "Höhenflugkurs" to receive the
next certification.
The class costs will be deducted from the cost of additional classes. You will need to bring sturdy hiking boots, weather accommodating clothing, sunglasses, and sunscreen.
Our paragliding classes take place all year around in one of Austria's most beautiful flying areas within the austrian Zillertal and the alpine region immediately south of Munich.
