Tandem - Skydiving
Skydiving ... pure exhilaration!
The thrill of a tandem jump from a plane... We also call this a “Kangaroo Jump”, because the passenger is locked onto the body of the tandem pilot.
The ground course is short and to the point. Jump in your overalls and harness and listen to a few short explanations. After the well qualified tandem pilot provides a run-down of the
jump, you can start the exhilarating experience.
Your first step is taken into a loud airplane and the door is closed. The noise level then increases as the airplane makes its way to the runway. At about 3000 meters you perform the last of the safety checks. Glasses, helmet, and harness checks. The tandem pilot securely locks the passenger onto the front of his harness. Then comes the moment of truth... feet back, arch your back, head back ...
Ready... Set... and..... GO!
Freefall from 3500 meters.
The tandem pilot and the passenger are un-separable and are able to communicate throughout the dive. After 40 seconds of Free fall and more than 200 km/h, the oversized main parachute opens allowing you and the pilot to safely glide towards the ground.
With the parachute safely above, the passenger can also experience gliding. The landing is done in a way so that both land safe and
smoothly. For this, both only need to take a few steps.
The prerequisite for this exhilarating experience is good health as well as body weight that does not exceed 85 kg. All required equipment will be provided.
