Austrian certification / "Ö-Lizenz"
The requirement for the "Ö-Lizenz" is basic certification or the "Grundschein". The class takes about 3-4 days. Once you have successfully complete the "Höhenflugkurs",
you will receive an Austrian flight and theoretical certification entitled "Ö-Lizenz".
With this license you are only allowed to fly within Austria. The training includes 5-10 "Höhenflüge" of 400 to 1200 meters as well as theoretical classes and a written test. The flights taken will count towards the next certification. Throughout
your "Höhenflüge" you will have continual radio contact with the instructor. We will lend to you the complete equipment.
